Ieva Dubova is a classical and contemporary pianist from Latvia. She performs solo and chamber music. Her most recent achievements include second place in Courtney Kenny Awards with soprano Hope Lavelle, and first place with Michael Worboys in the John Halford Competition for piano and composition.
She has been invited to play an honorary concert of Young Baltic Artists abroad in Uk as a noted musician of the Baltic states and has released an Album premiering four hands piano music with the award winning young contemporary pianist Joe Howson of pieces from Georgs Pelecis as a homage to her native country - Latvia.
Ieva has Performed in UK, Italy, Germany, France and Luxembourg.
She has recently joined the Appassionata piano trio and a duet with noted violinist Asma Ben Meryam and is looking forward to concerts for solo piano in Mexico July 2018 as well as Chamber music tour in Morocco in September 2018 with her duet and trio as a part of an opening of an ongoing classical music series there.
She is a fourth year student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music studying piano performance under Alexander Ardakov and has occasional lessons with renowned French pianist, Pascal Roge. Ieva has been awarded a master’s place at Trinity Laban, where she will continue to work with her current professor.
